Hunt Buffalo in Kruger National Park - 2026

The Cape buffalo inhabiting Kruger are distinguished by typical heavy bosses. The herd is healthy and large, and hunting them in what is otherwise a no-hunting zone just opened up. We have access with a top-performing PH who we have worked and hunting with since 1990.

Not all buffalo safaris are created equal in South Africa. In recent years, Cape buffalo have become an attractive add-on to the species portfolio of several game ranches. And to be certain, some of those ranches are big and thick enough to provide a real hunt. Others do not and uninformed hunters who have been attracted by some very "cheap" prices often miss out on real buffalo hunting. And too many immature bullas have been taken on these less-than perfect safaris.
